Cutting Edge
WOW! I did not know how cutting edge Big Sis and I are!!! I just found out that BookMooch only came into existence last Monday, and I joined on Wednesday... On the cusp, we are...
The system is young, but the members are on fire! I received an email with the following stats(after 9 days of operation):
- total members: 4056
- members listing books to give away: 1,566 (38%)
- total books available for mooching: 19,067
- Countries participating: 44
As for me, I am still waiting for my 3 books to arrive in the mail... I will keep you posted. Sign up NOW! This is the best thing since "Book It!" earned me free personal pan pizzas in 3rd grade.

I advertised it at our book club meeting this week, but I'm not sure I could personally participate. My books are like my children. And I'm a super-controlling mom. ;)
Eventually moms have to send their children out into the world on their own and hope they brought them up right...
Mostly I have just tossed out my less favorite children, but I did sink to giving away my copy of THe BEan Trees... Sad, but so worth my new book today!
I received my first book--beautiful hardbound and clean!!!

I have now received 3 books and one is in the mail to me... I have mailed out two and have one more I need to finish reading so I can send it out. :)
Aslo, I have not given away any of my sisters books and I do not regret the books I have passed on--so far I have sent out only books I am not in love with and/or never again plan to read. The book shelves at my house are still overflowing. In fact, friends are now bringing me books to add to my list, so the house will soon over flow!
