Honestly, I hate that song and I am not afraid to admit it. That guy has made a career out of his one hit song simply because it is so sappy that no one will dare admit that it is total crap! For starters, "American" is not a PLACE, so no one can live there... much less live freely there.
You can keep your Red Neck National Anthem, I'll stick to the Star spangled Banner!

Well, if we're gonna talk about hating, I hate Sean Hannity and all those obnoxious pundits. And I guess I'm ambivalent about the Lee Greenwood song. I didn't even know who wrote it. But I don't listen to music radio these days, so maybe that's why I don't feel strongly about it. BTW: happy birthday! I'm ashamed to admit I'm not sure what day it is, but I remember that it's close to Grandpa's, isn't it. And just so you know, the thirties are the knew black. ;)
Well, I figured my feelings about Hannity would be obvious... I also did not mention it as I was quizzing to see which readers actually follow my helpful little links! I am only allowing myself one major rant a day in any case. I once had a rommate who actually paid $100 for "dinner with Sean Hannity..." sick, sad world!
B-day is 7/11... drink a slurpee for me and never forget the date...
Also, I like your logic better than that in The Devil Wears Parda... if size 6 is "the new fourteen," I am in big trouble...

Love the toes and don't worry about that size 6 crap. I don't have anything better to say than that it's crap. Size 6 is just a number.
