Just When You Thought It Was Safe to Order the Salad
What is the world coming to when CBS reports that "Federal agents raided two Salinas Valley produce companies Wednesday," and the green leaf in question is SPINACH?At Trader Joe's today I noticed that the salads were marked with pre-printed labels certifying "contains no spinach." Suddenly the surgeon general has a whole new pack of warnings for us.
Apparently, spinach is once again safe to eat, but some folks are still being arrested for "possession with intent to distribute."

Oh, how I miss Trader Joes! And they'll probably never come to Utah because it regulates liquor sales making two buck chuck an impossibility. I would fight for the deregulation of alcohol if it meant we could have Trader Joes.
TJ's STILL has the salads with the "contains no spinach" stickers. you can find them in the refrigerated section, right next to the SPINACH salad.
