Take the Pledge! (Save the Planet and Your Wallet)
A little over two years ago I tried to sell the world on using a SIGG bottle (June 25, 2006 blog), but I think it is time again to put out my plea...Take the pledge to break the bottled water habit!
Evian is expensive, but its true cost is often forgotten--those single use bottles are an environmental nightmare! Environmentalists, water safety experts and humanitarians all agree that the bottled water industry has had a wide array of negative effects on our world. Of course, anyone who saw Reality Bites way back in 1994 knows that "Evian is naive spelled backwards!" Let's get smart about our consumerism.

I love that you quoted Reality Bites, one of my all time favorite movies. They actually talked about the same thing on the X96 Radio From Hell show this morning. I'll admit, my food storage is full of bottled water - but hopefully you think that's an OK cause. Afterall, should the day come I have to really break into the storage, we won't need to save the world anymore because it will be ENDING - ha!
A good cause to push!
