Kai Ora from Kiwi-a-go-go Land!

First observation... the New Zealand government seems to be quite concerned with the moral upbringing of rucksacks and footlockers. All over the airport there are signs admonishing travelers to "be sure the luggage you uplift is your own..." and "please uplift all of your luggage prior to proceeding to customs." I made a vow not to push my religious beliefs on anyone's suitcase.

Second observation... I would make a great Maori warrior--I do not think I am bragging when I say that my haka face is as intimidating as anyone's.

Third observation... the locals enjoy some complex cusine. The menue said "Kiwi special $8.50." I asked for some clarifiction and was told, "lettuce, tomato, mayo, beet root, ham, beef patty, fried egg, pineapple and sauteed onion."

"So it's a sandwich?"

It was a burger and luckily it tasted a lot better than it smelled! Everybody wanted some.
