Top 10 Things VegasBabe Loves about Mr. M.

Timid Tripper pointed out that I have not given a lot of disclosure on this page regarding my love life... Well, I generally seek a certain degree of anonymity in my blogging, but I did recently post some incriminating photos and medical reports... So, I guess it is safe to tell you a few of the countless reasons that I love My Favorite Martian Man (A.K.A. Mr. M.).

10. He has great taste in cars!
(His concept of "surprise!" is, on the other hand, a bit abstract. A few months ago he "surprised" me with MY dream car (a Honda hybrid) which he purchased for himself... I like to think he was planning ahead, because I am so going to steal it!)

9. He is almost as funny as I think I am--shout out to DearRoomie. ;)

8. He is persistently persistent, dependably dependable and courageously courageous. I used by very best tactics and could not scare him off as I did so many men before (maybe not so many, but enough).

7. He read the final chapter of Book Seven aloud to me!

6. He understands me when I say that had I taken the time to actually practice the piano, I would be a true proficient!

5. He only loses his cool when I am mean to myself, and he will not allow it.

4. He will read this, he won't mention it, and he will be embarrassed that I told you he has beautiful eyes and a tender heart. (He is going to want to kill me...)

3. He can tell me to chill out without making me want to scratch and spit.

2. He still wants to change the world even though he claims it is a lost cause.

The Best Worst-Day of My Life...

Who could say "no" to this man? Certainly not I. And so...
I am planning a wedding...

No specifics yet, but please stay tuned. I will explain that he swept my off my feet with his musing on how our worst day as a couple was bearable enough to warrant our taking next steps forward--my guy is a romantic AND a realist.

Now, I assure you all that I am really not in this for the jewels, and the spacey look on my face when I stare at my ring finger is purely due to the awe I feel at the love symbolized...
